the man in a pink shirt

So i was at the indoor statium on saturday to catch WWE, the first thing that came to my attention was that the large screens hanging from the ceiling were not being used to show close-ups of the matches, or anything at all. The next and probably most annoying factor is the lack of commentators, you know? The guy in the cowboy hat that always fills relatively boring punch-punch moments with enthusiastic and sometimes random comments? That certainly took some punch out of the show.

Most of the matches were moderately interesting, since some of the wrestlers were new to me and they didn't have the attractive flair that old school undertaker and steve austin had. Rey Mysterio's match with Chavo was nice though, since we were treated with many of his usual flips and jumps and random stunts, all being executed by a relatively chunky large man (compared to us asians) And it was interesting to see the great Khali and his 2.51m frame up close.

I noticed though, that the Singaporean crowd is a pretty bastard crowd, since every match they will continuously cheer and support one person while incessantly jeering the other. Unlike many shows, there were no mixes of cheers and jeers but a united stand to support one and degrade the other. So i come to the pink man, who may not have been the most noticeable without his pink shirt (in WWE, wtf?) and the fact he seemed, from afar, to be Mr. Chan. Since he was rich and sat next to the wrestlers walk, he could happily jeer every contestant he didn't like and taunt them with his excessive arm gestures and that X-at-the-groin-using-your-2-arms move. The black wrestler (something buurke) kinda shouted at him from the ring corner while he did that. Rey Mysterio got down from the stage to do it with the pink man at Chavo, (which was really funny) while many rushed up to them to join in. I'm not sure if he was ever scolded, though some beng at the side (whom buurke constantly shouted "you shut up" at) got scolded by a security guard.

Overall, other than the fact i reached home at 1a.m., it was a great night =)

I finally got Dream Theater's new album too! Borrowed, that is, from Mahesa. It really makes their last seem crappy (imho, though, it was.) Prophets of war really kicks ass, especially after the first few verses. Y'all should go buy/borrow/dl/sample/imeem it!

Is it time to make a change?
Are we closer than before?
Can we help them break away?
Are we profiting from war?

Its time to make a change.
